Congratulations to this batch’s strong finishers. Their eyes are on the goal—Jesus. (Phil. 3:14)
“Hindi ito paramihan ng alam,”(This is not about how much you know) says Bambi Warden in her opening speech. “Ito ay paayusan ng buhay!”(This is about giving God free reign to fix your life.)
“You are wise, and the wise man builds his house, his family, his future upon the Rock—Jesus!” This is Tim Warden’s encouragement for the graduates.
Giselle Graycochea, a Pre-encounter graduate, who took the 2-day summer Pre-encounter sessions claimed that she learned a lot and all of her questions were given answers. She also expressed her gratitude to her leader who invested in her. “It’s not even about the money you invested, but your willingness to help me get my life in order,” she tearfully added.
TJ Apigo, an Encounter graduate recalled how the session, “A Father’s Love” lifted all the negative feelings he felt about his biological father. He has forgiven and accepted his dad’s flaws and is now focused on our Heavenly Father’s perfect love. “I will use this as a benchmark in raising my future kids,” he says.
Neriza Lomibao, one of the top three finishers of the Post-encounter shared that it is her first time to ever wear a toga. “I was supposed to be out today selling notebooks, but God taught me to prioritize Him. I never expected to finish with flying colors,” she cried.
Joby Bang-as, who finished at the top of the Post-encounter class said that he realized that he did not know anything. “I thought I knew everything being taught at the Post-encounter, but then I realized, I need to relearn everything.”
Having said all of these, the merry graduates went “off and running, not turning back.” (Phil. 3:14)
