SOAKING: Not Just a Concert

Every 1st Saturday of the month, the community becomes abuzz with excitement. Years ago, it was just an event with only a few people in attendance—mostly leaders & workers of the church. But because God is the main attraction of the said event, each Soaking now fills the SFCC Worship Hall from wall to wall. Add to that, families who have migrated to faraway places still come over to San Fernando once a month to experience this intimate one-on-one communing with God as worship & exultation erupts and fills the whole room. The Manansalas who have migrated to Pampanga clear their weekend skeds to fit Soaking into their itinerary. The Mallaris from Baguio make use of their work leave benefits to come to Soaking. Recently, the family Nabua all the way from Corona, California made sure that among their homecoming itinerary would be Soaking.
